Falkirk Live! is a music festival in the heart of Falkirk. It’s inaugural events took place on the 14 to 16th October 2016.
The Festival has its roots in blues and jazz but reaches out to cover classical, folk, and indie music as well.
Highlights of the first year’s programme include: The Big Chris Barber Band, the top classic jazz band in the UK; Karine Polwart, award-winning singer-songwriter, and traditional musician; the leading Scottish blues band Blues N Trouble; Rose Room, the classy gypsy swing band; top funk band, James Brown Is Annie; and the young classical guitar star, Sean Shibe.
Falkirk Live! is presented by Jazz Scotland and Falkirk Community Trust, in partnership with Falkirk Blues Club, Falkirk designers Eden, Classic Music Live! and Afterglow and is suported by Creative Scotland, Visit Falkirk, Falkirk Delivers and Eden, who created the festival’s identity and website.
